WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are located inside Terlingua Ranch at 3801 East Este Road Terlingua, Tx 79852.
HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION?
You can make a reservation here on our booking engine. You can also search by calendar or the specific dates.
HOW MANY SITES DO YOU HAVE?
In our campground, we have 3 dry camping sites, and 8 tent sites.
ARE GENERATORS ALLOWED?
Generators are allowed but they must be 60 decibels or lower. Generators cannot be used during quiet hours.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
You should book 2-3 months in advance since we are only open during peak season which is our busiest.
WHAT IS THE TENT & OCCUPANCY LIMIT TO EACH SITE?
We have campsites that allow 3 tents per site and 6 guests per site. Children under 9 years of age are free.
In addition, we have campsites with a limit of 2 tents and 4 guests per site or 1 tent and 2 guests.
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM LENGTH FOR RV'S & SKOOLIES?
RVs that are 25ft and at this moment we can only accommodate short skoolies.
WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?
Our rates can vary by site, holidays, weekends, and events being held in the area.
- All Campsites-$48.00 Monday thru Thursday & $55.00 Friday thru Sunday
DO YOU ALLOW PETS?
Pets are welcome at tent campsites, but they cannot be left unattended. Dry Camping sites please be sure your pet is accustomed to being left unattended in an RV, van, or skoolie. Pets are not allowed on hiking trails in the National Park. Two trails in the State Park allow dogs, the Closed Canyon Trail and the Hoodoos Trail. Please read our pet policy.
ARE YOU OPEN YEAR ROUND?
No, we are only open during the peak season of fall, winter, and the beginning of spring. Our season will run from mid-October thru the end of March. The summer is extremely hot for primitive and dry camping.
2nd Season Dates – October 15, 2023 – March 31, 2024.

ARE THERE DARK & QUIET HOURS?
Yes, there are dark and quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am. We are part of the Greater Big Bend International Dark Sky Reserve and it is currently the world’s largest Reserve and protected Dark Sky Place.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?
Yes, children are allowed. 10 years of age and older will be considered adults for the booking engine. No extra charge if your children are 9 years and under. They will not be considered the ‘extra’ occupants.
